Hi everyone. Just an update on this.So my brother went through with the appeal a while ago and the appeal process was a bit long, primarily because they spent an age setting up meetings. The first meeting was a review of the earlier meetings and all evidence. As he put it, a total waste of everyone's time. The 2nd meeting was the big one with a senior person attending, just before it started they they agreed that this meeting could be held without prejudice.Well they got straight to the point, they said it was very harsh the way they treated him and to avoid further hassle presented 2 options, firstly old job back with a slight pay increase or secondly compensation for the whole situation. Everyone there knew that he didn't want the job back so they settled on compensation. I didn't quiz my brother on the amount, but he seemed happy about it. They also went over the usual HR T&Cs to cover themselves.Right now my brother is working elsewhere, fortunately these guys didn't ask for or need a reference.6
