Footwear for walking… a lot

Thanks everyone. Visited a podiatrist today. My trainers I’ve been using are apparently not much good beyond walking to the shop!
New trainers (£120) have been recommended and/or off the shelf £65 insoles… but they won’t work in my current trainers. Or for wet weather, walking shoes/boots lightweight with arch support, stiffer footbed and ankle support. Removable insoles are good as then if I do need different insoles or custom ones then it’s easier. She did say it was good to come to her first before buying footwear.
thanks for the suggestion of seeing a posiatrist.Apparently if I carry on ignoring my stage 1 issue then it could eventually escalate to needing surgery.Just need to adjust my budget now….working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?2
