Anyone work for Sensée

I currently work zero hour around our children but want to start getting mortgage ready so want a set hr contract.
Husband works shifts (higher earner and unable to change shifts/jobs keeping Income).

Wondering if anyone here works or had recently worked for Sensée, want to know what the hours are really like.

It says your pick your own hours and I don't know if that sounds too perfect.

Any input welcome

It sounds my idea of hell but I understand your reasonings re mortgage.

I'd rather a zero hour where you can pick your own hours than annualised hours. I'd always worry if I did not complete my 20hrs they would bank up and I'd have to work full time to clear it..

I also don't like you pay for all the equipment, using a chair /table /computer wfh is very different to actually working so I like proper designed chairs etc.

Have you checked reviews / glass door?
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....

not sure I’d be looking to work for them.
  • @74jax I have must of the equipment anyways. And I absolutely prefer working the zero hours as I can pick and chose around the kids but it's purely for what looks better on a mortgage application and for that duration of applying til getting the keys having evidence of set income.

@Martin_the_Unjust thanks for the link, yeh that doesn't look good does it. Although to be fair it reads a bit like how I'd rate my last call centre job and I even looked to go back to the but it'd including evening and weekends which I can't do🙄
  • If you've been in your zero hours role for 1+ year and have fairly regular work it shouldn't make a difference to the mortgage. Lenders go off average hours worked over a period of time.

I wouldn't touch that company with a barge pole. It felt / read like some strange temping agency and I enjoy temping for good agencies!
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
