I had terrible time using mine.

Put it on as soon as I felt the blister appearing on the lip, and when I woke the next morning it had curled up a bit at the edge.

Taking it off was horrible - it virtually ripped the top of the blister so I was left with a nasty scab anyway :-(

Unless I didn't read it right and was doing it wrong.

Thank you so much for posting this thread. I really hope I'm able to get a sample as I've often thought of buying it, but don't really have the money to be able to spend on it, if it's no good. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis last year and from never having suffered with a cold sore in my life, I am now getting one every other week :mad: so really hope that this works!

i've been waiting for my sample for ages. unfortunately i've suffered from coldsores since i was little and have tried everything. best thing seems to be taking lysine supplements and avoiding food with high levels of arganine (eg chocolate, nuts, all the good stuff!).i find the compeed patches aren't much good during the day, you can always see you've got one on, but i do find they're excellent at night while you're asleep, cos you don't need to worry about spreading your coldsore while your head's buried in the pillow! also when you're showering so you can give your face a good wash without further risk of spreading infection! i'm still waiting for a miracle cure though

i get coldsores very frequently :mad: and thought this freebie would be a help but im still waiting for mine and i requested it months ago:mad: , i have since requested another but still waiting for that one too:rolleyes: . the site doesnt say anything about the promotion ending or only a certain amount were available it doesnt even decline you if you have already requested one. maybe the site just doesnt like me
