Breadmaking

Instead of using the breadmaker's whole programme to cook the loaf, I use the dough programme to do the hard work up to the end of the first rise, as I like to cook different shape loaves.  They end up being very successful, but I'm having problems with the dough sticking in the pan once the dough programme is finished.  I've tried oiling the pan but that didn't work.

Does anybody have any ideas how to stop this happening?

Morning - what model of breadmaker do you have?

The reason I ask is that I do the same but never have any issues with the dough sticking - just need to ascertain whether there is an issue with the particular maker that you have have, first.

It's an old Morphy Richards (48220 Series), and it still makes lovely bread using 400gr multigrain flour, 240ml water and 1 1/4 tsp dried yeast.  If I didn't get such consistently good end results then I'd think the ingredients needed adjusting somehow, so I'm stumped!
  • It may be that the non-stick coating on the pan is getting less non-stick with age. Short of replacing the pan (assuming you can GET a replacement) I doubt there is a lot you can do.

I take it that it is coming out, just not cleanly?
