Trapped with Static Caravan Debt

I bought a static caravan three years ago with finance through Blackhorse. For obvious reasons my income has suffered this past 18 months so I've been trying to sell it.
The problem I have is the holiday park (where the static is sited) are putting a lot of obstacles in the way of us selling the static and also potential buyers are not following up on there interest because of the sites poor reputation of late.
Also, when we bought the static the site was family friendly with lots of activity weekends put on. It's no longer family friendly with the only events seemingly encouraging you to get drunk at the site pub.
I really feel trapped by this debt with no idea how to clear it. I feel like simply giving the caravan keys back and saying sod it...
Any advice please?

How much is the outstanding finance on the caravan ?
It is quite an obstacle when you can`t sell the thing, you have the option of stopping payments, but that should not be your first choice, it would be costly both in terms of the money you would lose, your credit file, and also the the loss of the caravan, but it would solve your problem.

Is it possible to rent out the static?0

If you are able to rent it out, I'd look into that first. Over the summer there was quite a demand for "staycation" availability. It may be trickier in winter as caravan parks often close, but plan it for next year if you can.
Events-wise, hopefully things will pick up again next year!Debt Pay-off
