Firmus Gas price increase

Wondering whether anyone can answer a query regarding the price increase : if on a top up meter tariff , is it possible to top up multiple times before price rises to stave off the increased prices? Obviously only if you can afford to do so.

I've a prepay meter with SSE Airtricity but assume firmus have similar terms. With SSE:
Max £49 per top up
No limit on number of top ups per day
Maximum credit on meter of 1200 cubic metres
At current prices this is approx £540. I've been topping up daily with the aim of getting v close to the 1200m3 limit before the 1 Oct increase of 22%.
