Hi, I own 3 properties outright and they are all in long term tenancy, however, I would like to free up some capital for home improvements, what is the most effective and viable way to do this..?

It depends on the sums, your repayment period and what options are open to you. 

Personal loans, secured loans, mortgages or credit cards could all play a role.
