Asda shoppers will be able to buy food and drink at new convenience stores set to open at 28 EG Group petrol stations across the UK later this year. It follows the trial of the 'On The Move' shops at five forecourts over the past 11 months.

Shops at supermarket petrol stations should only sell:
. Snacks
. Drinks
. Newspapers and basic selection of magazines
. Car stuff such as de-icer, scrapers
It should not be a place for selling ready meals, salads, bread etc. As I have been stuck between two cars whose owners decided to do a main shop whilst filled up with fuel. Parked such a way that I couldn't drive around either of them.
Hopefully Asda will provide a few car park spaces for people to park there and do shopping.0
