return of faulty item / out of stock

Do argos still refund faulty items over 30 days old if they are out of stock - or do they now force you to send away for repair or accept store vouchers?

  • Depends what the item is and how you paid for it
  • console/6 months old/credit card
  • Games consoles are sent away for repair. If it's Xbox or anything by Sony you have to contact them yourself (they won't deal with us because of the data protection act, pretty stupid if you ask me!) If it's a Nintendo we send it away for you you. They all are pretty quick services and if it can't be repaired they do replace them.
