Lowells Help

Wondering if anyone can help.
I have received an email from Lowells Financial in regards to two very old Utility bills, one for over £500, leccy and disconnected march 2015 and one for less then £50, TV subscription, disconnectedmarch 2017.
I sent them a prove it email and they came back with some paperwork. Neither of these debts are on my credit file and I am yet to reply to Lowells communications.
What should I reply with? As these debts are not on my credit files I do not acknowledge it so how best to proceed?
TIA

Statute Barred Debt & Debt Recovery. StepChange
Unless they have already taken legal action, or you have paid anything in the last 6 years, the 2015 debt is probably statute barred.
Lowell bulk buy debts for very little money (a few p per pound) and hope to extract something in some cases. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing1 -
Thank you. Yes no acknowledgement or payments to either debt. Will send a statute barred for the leccy one but still not acknowledge the other one? Lowells has not provided proof of debt owed, they have stated that the company uses paperless billing so no bill to show but the company has sent them proof which has not been provided to myself.0

When did you last pay the leccy bill?
That's the burning question. Do you have copies of your bank statements? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing1 -
I haven't paid this leccy bill since before the supplier was switched De 2015. No I don't as bank with a different provider now.

Just to add, I am not aware of a default being applied to either debt.
