Missing comps when sorting by end date

I'm back to comping after a 5 year break and things have changed a little......

I've been back for a couple of months and have got to grips with the new way to filter on end date and also having a play around with the new search facility, but what I have noticed over the last couple of days is that even though I've sorted by end date, gone back to the last page and worked my way through backwards marking each one entered or skipped....... when I do the sort again later that day or the next day, competitions are popping up that did not appear the day before - comps posted from days/weeks ago, and quite a number of them too!  Does anyone else have this problem.  

Sorry, I haven't explained it very well but hopefully you get the gist!

YES! All the time. Its driving me crazy. I'll start the day by going back to todays date and then once I reach a certain date, I'll jump back to the start and low and behold SO MANY miss comps. I'm doing this multiple times a day to try and not miss anything but some are still getting through. Its really eating into my comping time too.

I am now making it my mission to catch up with all the current comps so I no longer have to rely so much on the end date feature.

There are also times where pages will just repeat over and over for several pages, with maybe 1 new comp appearing ever so often.

Ah yes, I forgot about the repeating pages!!  Thanks for confirming you're having the same issues and it's not just me, I was beginning to wonder if I'd lost the knack lol.  Good luck and happy comping

Missing competitions and repeated pages also happens to me everyday.

Yep! I sort them, go through pages and refresh, identical pages come up - sometimes for 5/6 pages. Then I do a search as someone suggested in another thread. I catch a few there (mostly magazine comps for some reason) - but I still see other ones when I do it the next day.

This is a prime example, I've comped every day for a couple of weeks now and these "Moped Insurance" competitions have never come up - all dated 11 Aug, and I know that not everyone thanks/"compliments" our hardworking members who post the comps (I will never understand why!!!) but for each of these comps there are only about 20 "comp-liments" and I can't believe there would be so few entries for a track day.  So, I'm guessing there's a lot of other compers who haven't seen this particular group of comps?
