Is this site legitimate?

Hi, 

I know there are a lot of websites popping up that are scams / misleading...especially during the time of Covid. I am wanting to buy a couch from the website homesofacompany.co.uk but am unsure of whether it is legitimate...Does anyone know or can tell how to find out whether it is? 

It looks quite new and below says c 2021 so am sceptical...Any advice?

The underlying company is Deslit and Co who you can check on Company House.
There is one director who appears to be using a correspondence address at an office block in Birmingham.
Having read their slightly vague returns policy, I’d be giving them a miss.

Hi, your instincts are telling you this could be a dodgy site. When I looked at the website, I could see no street address, not even under the 'contact us' link. For me that's not a good sign.

And on the government's Company House site, if you put in the exact name that's on their website, Home Sofa Limited - it does not seem to be listed. There are a lot of different variations but no exact matching name. As per the following link -

When you buy a couch, I always think it's best to be able to try it out, sit on it and lounge around a bit! 

My advice is the same as that of elsien. Give them a miss.
