Is p45 needed for mortgage?

Is a p45 needed when applying for mortgage? I haven’t worked in a fulltime job for a few years now, and I’ve definitely lost my p45.

How can I solve this?

No, the lender will be interested in your current earnings, not something from a few years ago.
A P60 can help to show your previous years income, but a P45 is only really of interest to your next employer during the same tax year.
