Statute Barred

I have not paid towards an old credit card for over 6 years but had a tomlin order put against this debt 2 years ago.

Guessing statute barred does not apply?

A tomlin order means a claim had been started so no, not statute barred.

However, they might have trouble getting a court to agree to enforce this is they have alowed six years to pass without doing anything.

    Let sleeping dogs lie.
  • They are in regular communication trying to get payment from me, I have been putting them off. Now 6 years have elapsed since last payment towards the debt, thought I would ask the question.

I will never pay more £1 a month if they force my hand.
