Bluestone Mortgages not reporting on Credit File

Options
So having jumped through the many hoops to get a mortgage with Bluestone, we completed back in March so nearly 6 months in. So far they have not reported the mortgage on any of my credit files. I had thought with Covid there may be a delay but 6 months in I thought they would have started. Has anyone checked to see if Bluestone do actually report their mortgage payments or is this a cunning plan so your credit file doesn’t look as good as it could so you have to stay with them ?

    They do usually report.

Take the tin foil hat off. There is no plot. Your mortgage showing on your credit report would help in the future, but it is unlikely to be a deal breaker.

It isn't on my credit file yet however I never even got a hard search by them, however, even if they don't report you'd still be applying for a remortgage so the new lender would know you'd had a mortgage before. I'm sure they'd report quickly if you'd missed payments.
  • They only report on Experian, it does take a few months before it appears and is always a couple of months behind with the data eg the balance is higher than the actual outstanding amount.

As you're that worried, drop them an email and ask.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
