Onstride Grant Thorton sold to Lantern

Hi,
Did anyone receive a message from onstride/cash euro net or grant thornton about them stopping payments on 23 august 2021 because I never.

So I checked my bank account last Friday and today to see if onstride was on there nothing so I rang up onstride today and they apologised that no one informed that no payments are due last week and that grant thornton the administrators have now sold  the loan to lantern which I have tried to call regarding it can’t get through even their web chat not working on my devices.

Just keep the money to one side so you have it available to pay Lantern when you hear from them.

You really do not want to be calling Lantern, otherwise known as (MMF) Motormile Finance in a former life.

If you Google their previous name, you will see why.

Anything to do with money and debt should only be addressed remotely, either in writing, or online.

This is so you are not "persuaded" to part with more monthly income than is necessary, plus you can get tongue tied on the phone, and agree to things you wouldn`t normally agree too, so its best practice to avoid the phone altogether.

They will write to you in good time.
