Drysdenfairfax want to reassess

Can anyone offer advice please? My partner has a CCJ with £6200 outstanding. The CCJ was from 2016 for credit card debt. He has been paying £30 per month since 2016. He has now received a letter stating his agreement has come to an end and asking him to complete an income and expenditure form so they can reassess “to prevent further action”. Does he have to complete the form? (He finds it so stressful) and is making payments each month.
Also, I am considering making an offer on his behalf for a full and final settlement… is this possible with the debt being a ccj or would they only accept the full amount?

What payment did the court originally set ?
Its quite simple to fill in a form and make it show whatever monthly payment you want it too, doesn't have to be stressful at all, its only that way if you make it so, you can knock one up in 5 mins, its validity cannot and will not be checked.
Its routine for accounts to be reviewed on a regular basis.
You can try a full and final offer, but as they have a judgement, they may not bite.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Thank you Sourcrates. The CCJ payments are £30/mth and have been since issue of CCJ.
I’ll help him to get the review completed.0 -
You may well discover that the reason they have sent this form, is to assess if you can still afford payments.Moaning_myrtle_123 said:Thank you Sourcrates. The CCJ payments are £30/mth and have been since issue of CCJ.

If the judgement amount was £30 then that is what you pay, so long as its affordable.
If either side wishes to formally change the payment amount, that requires court approval.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
