Hi All,
Im new to this so please bare with me.
After some great information i read on this site, i decided to reclaim unaffordable loans. Ranging from payday loans to one guarantor loan with bamboo.
I took out several loans in a 6 month period in 2016. During that time I was in the midst of a mental health breakdown. I was diagnosed with bipolar 7 months later. Im still suffering with my mental health now but doing much better. My mental health team wrote up all the complaint letter and most have settled any debt I had with them and removed their negative inout from my credit file.
The problem I have now is with 1 day of putting a complaint into bamboo they offered me 25% of what I had paid them (the loan was fully paid off)
The original loan was £4500 repaid £11485. 60 month period.
So within 1 day the offered me £842. Ive just sat down with my mental health nurse and she was going through some things and said I should not have accepted the offer because they should never have given me the loan in the firat place as they didnt ask for income or expenditure.
The repayments were £197 per month and trust me it was the worst struggle in the world due to it being a guarantor loan.
So i accepted their offer that day just to get it out the way, even complaining to these companies gave me incredible anxiety so i was happy to be done with it, however, now my nurse has explained that i shouldnt have.
Can I still complain to the FOS? Or is that now closed because i accepted their offer?
Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you actually got the money yet ?
If not, then yes, you can say you have changed your mind, but you must allow them to issue you with a final response before the FOS can become involved.
