I'm no expert but presumably there will be copyright issues if you are using images such as Bratz images and then charging for them? Anyone know what the legal implications are?
Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...

See what others charge for personlized invitations on-line and go from there. It'll give you a starting point. Failing that tell her to pay what it is worth to her.

  • I used to work in publishing and a business would charge an hourly rate plus materials/overhead plus profit. If you're doing a favour then say a 'drink' equals a bottle of wine maybe £5. It depends how far you want to go, how close a friend they are, if it is a regular thing and if you're pushed for time.

If you factor in the tax implications and you don't want to be faffed with self-employment etc then I would say ask for a bottle of your favourite tipple or something you can regift to relatives etc if you don't drink: then your friend will feel they're not ripping you off and you won't feel that you're ripping them off.
  • Thanks guys ideas are great, looked into the on this day and name meaning software jeeps they are so expensive got a on this day cd from ebay for £2 but its only a copy and not really much good tried doing 1 for end of 99 and i have to cut and paste all the info onto certficate 2 much hassle if i got a few to do tho gonna have a fiddle with my software the font was defo free lol so mite go with the personal pic on invites instead, the ones i done for a friend the resulting payment was her getting me drunk and just putting beer in front of me wen we were out 6 pints of lager later and nearly £15 would ave been cheaper for her to buy proper invites but she's not bothered she said it saved her goin 4 them and writing them out so winners all round
