Does anyone know what happens with Yodel collections if you're out?

Basically I ordered something from eBuyer.
Found it cheaper elsewhere so emailed them to cancel the order. They never replied and sent the item anyway. I emailed them again saying I need to return it, so they arranged a collection for tomorrow.
However, I have to go somewhere tomorrow so won't be in all day (from 9am til 9pm) for collection.
Does anyone know if they reschedule for another day, or do they just cancel the order?
I told them (Yodel) in live chat that I probably won't be in tomorrow, but they said they just try once per day and he couldn't say what will happen if I'm not in.
Sounds stupid to me that they still get the driver to drive to my house rather than reschedule, but I don't know what else to do. eBuyer's customer services are closed today as it's a bank holiday so I can't contact them
Thanks

ThanksLuckily the guy showed up in the tiny window before I had to leave.I didn't answer the door quickly so he stuck a note through saying missed collection and nothing else, but I ran out and stopped him and gave him the parcelDidn't think to ask what I would have had to do if I'd missed him, but as there were no instructions and nothing about rescheduling I assume the company would have to book another collection for me1
