Hi all.
Just looking for as many opinions as possible to help me make a decision.
I resigned from my current job two weeks ago, I have now been counter offered.
My first thought is why has it taken them resignation to start to address issues and see that I am worth and increased salary.
Here are my options:

Here are my options:
Current employment
£30,000 basic
Bonus approx 3k a year
Bonus approx 3k a year
9-5:30
22 days holiday plus bank holidays
New employer
27K basic salary
20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
The commission structure is as follows:
30% of all gross profit uncapped after the first 2.5k has been met. Please note, this is an OTE of 45k. (as mentioned all existing sales members are significantly higher than this)
Option of either using your own vehicle at 45p per mile for the first 10,000 miles and 25p per mile for anything over, or we are prepared to give a £400 per month car allowance plus business fuel costs. The car allowance element will be added to you PAYE and employer will cover all business mileage.
Your opinions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Very difficult to compare a commission based role against one which isn't. I do totally agree with you about why it has taken your resignation for your value to be realised. All other things being equal, I would be inclined to move on as I would always feel that I wasn't actually valued - just easier to keep than recruit a replacement.

Thanks,
I know someone who worked at the new employer who can’t recommend the place enough.
Pre commission taking into account car allowance, I will be £1800 better off. I then have the commission to further increase earnings, they say current sales staff don’t earn less than 40 which isn’t possible at current employer.
I think I have to go with my gut and stick with my resignation0
