when i am likely to get the best deal for a buying a laptop? before christ mas when they are trying to get you to part with your money for christmas presents or after chrsitmas in the sales?

I would suggest that unless you need it for Xmas then hang on till the sales start. Prices are unlikely to go up and with the end of the financial year approaching surely they will want the stock out ?

Keep a record of the pre Christmas prices as often the sales prices are exactly the same, even when they declare massive savings, sometimes the sales prices are higher.
