How to check reverse charge VAT payments?

Hope this is correct forum.
I'm now on reverse charge VAT, building trade, is there a way of checking the company I have worked for have paid the reverse charge to HMRC?
I've been into my VAT account but can't see anything.
I've done my return to end of July and payment is due in September.
Also, I wonder what would happen if a company that I worked for went bust and never paid the reverse charge, having stopped it off an invoice?

No there isn't any way for you to check that they have dealt with the VAT correctly. All you can check is that their VAT number and CIS registration are correct.
