Can a mortgage broker advise me on whether this mortgage situation is likely (HSBC)

I'm after some reassurance that this mortgage situation will be OK. I've got a broker working on it, who tells me it will be fine, but I'm worrying.
We have applied to HSBC, asking for 4.6x our salary, over 33 years. We have a 40% deposit. My husband earns more than me, and has been comfortably employed with the same company for 3 years, however I have just come off maternity leave into a new job. I will have my first pay slip this month, but haven't been paid before this since Feb 2021 (though I have been employed the entire time). I am senior within my job, and moving to a very similar role at the same senior level. It has a 3 month probation period, which would end in November.
Do we think that this is going to be approved? They have asked for my last pay slips from my previous job, and my new job contract.
