Its unlikely to happen, but if it did, remember, self employed collectors are just that, self employed folk who have no more power than next doors cat, they are not bailiffs, so have no power of entry or any power whatsoever, keep that in mind.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Hi, ive received a letter about my lack of response for the reference number to which they gave all the info for saying if not heard from me by end november they will be back in touch. Should i just wait and see what they say come that date or should i respond. I still havent had a response from the 2nd letter i sent for the difference reference number requesting all the info, should i take it as the one they sent covers both reference number or should i still expect a letter even though it should be the same info??

not sure if your around lately or not. Was just wondering about the above comment. I have sorted the CML letter going inpost before weekend . Also while going through the paperwork i have checked and double checked this time the account number on the two different amounts are the same only difference being the amounts and their reference number is different any ideas why this would be?

I sent the cml letter in other week the one fat belly linked in this thread, i didnt mention about the account numbers, ive had a reply today saying they are seeking their clients instructions. But at the beginning of the letter they have changed to a new account number thats not on any of the other letters ive had off them for either amount and they are saying that this matter relates to two overdraft accounts and put both account numbers in i dont actually know what these are, but are overdrafts even mortgage shortfalls? if not would they fall under statute barred after 6 years??
I was also waiting a response from them with regards to letter i sent in september asking for the breakdown of the account to what is actually the mortgage shortfall im guessing. By their letter there was a payment made to them on the account from im guessing the lad i had mortgage with who i dont speak any more and havent saw for about 13 years. Would the fact that hes paid stuff mean i cant use the cml gudielines with them any more? They have now included an income and expenditure formfor me to fill out
