I'm a little out of practise here, but I believe you can inform them that you are only willing to be contacted in writing.

I Had a Very catalogue debt from 2016. I defaulted and Lowell’s took on the debt. They didn't enforce the debt and around a year later they offered me a deal to settle it with was 40% of the debt which I was happy to pay. On my credit score the debt is down as satisfied.

All well and good if they would be realistic and work with you but they absolutely won’t.They will eventually leave you alone and sell on to Lowell’s.1 -
HiJust and update and more advice please.Very have put account on hold until 18th September..i now have to decide what to do..I could go back to Very and make them another payment offer or go on to a DMP, i have 7 credits altogether totalling 25,000.Very debt is the only one i will struggle with (£350 a month, £7,000 total) but my Argos one is also £218 (3,900)..Can't see Very accepting this so would probably have deal with this separately anyway while also being hassled by the other 7 crediters as well!.Could i just put Very and Argos on a DMP or would that not work or be accepted?Thanks0

If you go on a DMP you have to treat all the creditors equally. the others won't play ball if you pay more to Very.
Have you considered a Debt Relief order, assuming you don't own a house and only have a cheap car?
One year and all the hassle will be over.
Mean-time stop paying everyone and build up an emergency fund.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
