Bankruptcy Concern - Accommodation Payments

I posted on the forum in December of last year looking for advice (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6220707/is-this-a-viable-way-to-escape-my-debt). Since then, the majority of my debts have defaulted and my situation has changed entirely. I still owe the same amount.
At the end of this year (December) I will no longer be working, and will transition into a full-time student the following month at a university.
My only income will be my student maintenance loan - no grants.
Due to this, bankruptcy has become a more viable option and is recommended by StepChange. However, to secure accommodation for the year, I will need to spend the majority of my savings paying several months of rent upfront (I won't pass a credit check & I can't get a guarantor) to a student friendly landlord.
This will be around £4,000, and likely to be paid the month before I declare bankruptcy.
I've done some reading but can't find what implications this may have, and whether it's something they'd consider acceptable?
