additional state pension - pension credit

Hello,

Wondering if anyone has experienced this before.

I am 70 years old (state pension year was 2011).

My husband died a few years ago and I am wondering if I can apply for Pension Credit. I do get a small amount of his pension added onto mine, on a form I have it shows mine separately but then underneath, additional like £48 or something.

I did try the calculator but I cannot find anywhere that says if the additional added as I am a widow … counts towards the amount as you can get it and have savings or other income.

thanks so much

Pat
