Reduced Tax / Rebate Working From Home & Sick

Hello folks,
I normally work in an office based environment but due to Covid19 my work has been based from home since March 2020.
Shortly afterwards the government announced you could get a reduction in tax by approx £20 per month from my memory but due to renovating my house and some family problems i never got around to applying / claiming this.
I have been off sick from my work since April 2021 and i'm still on a waiting list to see an NHS specalist.
My question is. Can i claim now for the £20 per month tax reduction for working from home? I'm not on SSP yet.
If i can't claim for it at present, can i claim it for previous months?
Any advice / insight appretiated.

No one has ever been able to claim a tax refund/reduction of £20/month for Covid-19 WFH claims.
Most people save £1.20 or £2.40 per week in reduced tax.
You have until 5 April 2024 to claim the small amount (< £5) due for 2019:20 and until 5 April 2025 to claim for the 2020:21 tax year.
But no need to leave it till the last minute1
