I had a phone call from a company who I entered a competition for. After greeting me and reminding me of the competition I had entered, they excitedly told me congratulations and that I had won...

...a discount on a subscription to their magazine.

I was on a bus so I had to be diplomatically measured in my response (I declined on the subscription if you're wondering) but secretly in my mind, I was bringing up every curse word I could think of.
