    Afternoon Wannabes

Havent really had much to report.  Still trying to see where im spending in all honesty.  My 'living'spreadsheet is coming up with some red lights especially on those little lunches out with my children.  Im hoping this will reduce significantly from this week as they are back at school  :)

I mentioned I had spent quite a chunk on school uniforms so in addition to the bits of lunch costing a fiver here and there along with what I spent on uniforms I wont have that to outlay in the next pay period.

Im doing really well on the surveys, not as good as most granted but im happy with what I have so far which is nearly £40.  I gave myself a goal for this pay period to earn £50 from surveys.  I still have 2 weeks until payday!

The DD i saved on which I thought were mortgage protection payments (just under £70) I have split up between CC1 and CC2, also saved £10 on milk delivery and rounded up to £80.  My usual CC1 and CC2 payments come out in the next few days so I will be able to update totals when I have new statement in around 2 weeks.

I have overpaid CC's by £80 so far and plan to use survey money at end of pay period to go to CC's also.

Thats about all for now. Thanks for stopping by and reading/joining my journey.

Not very much in all honesty, I just keep open the page whilst im working, some take minutes some take around 30 minutes.  Im only using 1 survey provider at the minute though.  The opinion ones are higher payers where you participate via zoom, but all the ones I have expressed interest in havent gone any further  :(

Its amazing how much 50p here and there builds up!

Small update.  During covid last year we opted for a milk delivery.  We get 8 pints per week at 68p a pint.

As things are trying to go back to normal now, I have reduced this to just 3 pints a week as I want to support a local business. I'm also going to buy a 4pt when I do shopping which is £1.09 so I've worked out I will save around £10 month on my milk delivery, and another £120 a year.

    Small steps and all!!!
It's only a small point but these milk deliveries are expensive as I'm sure you know and by buying milk this way you're probably paying around £100/yr more than if you just bought a 6 pinter from the supermarket each week. Nice that want to support a local business but you probably ought to get out of debt before you do that.

I hear what you say Able, and I will eventually cancel altogether in the short term.  I will pay around £7.50 a month compared to Over £16/£17 a month.  At the minute we are running out mid week which is when I ask for a delivery as I only shop on a weekend so it does save me from going out and most likely spending more than I wanted.

    Afternoon Wannabes

Im still waiting on my Credit card statements following my payments this month.  Good news is I have paid some extra off my CC's above usual minimums.  I cashed out my surveys and have over £53 so Im really pleased with that.  CC1 overpayments £167, and CC2 £40.  I also received some dividend payments from shares I own totalling around £80 this month.  Im using alot of the credit limit on CC1 so I want to get as much paid off as I can, also its interest free until Sept 22.  Once i get my statements I will update my totals.

Im seeing some 'red lights' on some of my spending from the spreadsheet im keeping.  The odd bits around £5 to £10 on eating out is now nearly £175 for the pay month and I dont get paid until next Friday. Plus a further £152 on bits I dont even know where its gone!  Im trying to keep receipts for everything but I think some have been misplaced/lost.  There is also a payment to Google Play at £42, Im not sure what its for so I need to look into that!  If I take the last 2 amounts, thats nearly £200!

Anyway thats all for now, will update once I know more

Thats a shame as this is the one Ive had the most success with.  I think Martin mentioned there are rejections on this survey site.  Hope you are doing ok?

    Afternoon DFW's

Small update transferred another £5.58 to CC1.  I have £2.09 cleared on survey site and another £16.30 pending so will use that for CC1 payments when cleared.

The survey site I use Prolific is a little dry on the surveys recently, think this has been mentioned on the specific Prolific forum too.  Joined another Crowdology today, keeping both tabs open whilst I work!

Im still waiting on my CC1 and CC2 statements to come through, so once I have these I will update totals.

    Thanks

    Afternoon All

I have updated my totals, CC1 statement still not arrived but its interest free so a pretty good idea whats been paid and what I still owe.

Been making a conscious effort to pay as much as possible to CC1, all survey money I get is going on that debt, just transferred another £15.58 to my account so will get that paid of CC1 asap. I still have £9.18 pending so again when that clears im going to get CC1 paid.

Surveys are still my best best to pay extra off my debts, Ive earned just over £70 (including pending), since starting this diary.  Just over a 5% reduction too of overall debt, im on with this! :)

Other than update, noting much more to report.
