Car finance funds transfer timescale

Hi all, I have had a car finance approved with Lloyds on Saturday and immediately got an email with finance  documents confirming everything, it also said that funds will be transferred to a car dealer direct within 2-4 hours and that funds will be with them on the same day. 
However, we are well into Sunday and car dealer is saying he hasn’t received anything and Lloyds car finance customer service is closed on Sundays. 

I honestly wasn’t expecting Lloyds to transfer funds over the weekend but their email clearly said that they would. 

Has anyone been in this situation? Do banks make transfers over the weekend or can I expect funds to hit dealership account on Monday morning?
