Energy Supplier Chasing Debt for Non Existent Resident

I've received a visit & letter from an energy supplier chasing a debt for over £1000 at my property but the name on the letter is not someone that has ever lived in the house in the last 25 years. They don't seem to accept that this person has never lived in the property and that wherever they got the info from has made an error.

Any suggestions for how to get rid of them? Surely it's down to them to prove that the person has a debt at that address rather than just sending debt collectors round and threatening to get court order/bailiffs? Previous letters would have been returned to sender as no-one of that name lives in the house but this one was left through letterbox after personal visit from debt collector.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
