Not to be mean, but for someone without a job some of the above expenses are unbelievable. As you don't work, why do you need "mobile internet" for £20 a month? Seems a total waste of money to me. Get rid of it, and save £240 a year towards your debts. As for Sky, get rid and get a freeview box.

No your being mean, ur being honest and trying to help out.

When I started Open uni, due to not having a computer had a grant and got laptop - so took mobile internet, (which does get paid by open uni - but as they sent a chq I finished off a credit card)

Then last yr got a computer - so took AOL - then upgraded package to get laptop - and that was £25.00 + some calls - get free local + national calls, just pay for the 08 and mobile numbers - I pay the calls, where my parenst pay the line rentalwith BT

The Sky Im in a 12mth contact upgraded to Sky +, again its a trade off instead of paying more keep I pay that instead.

I have got an appointment with the job centre b4 xmas - previuosly was allowed to earn £20.00 per week, and did some mystery shop work, but it endedup in such a mess that I was losing money as the DHSS had worked out I was earning £300 per week - if I was would I be on income support, that took over a yr to sort but my letters are now saying I can only earn £6.84 per week, so going to get it all checked out - even if it sticks at £6.00 per week then aim to do 2 jobs a month, and pay that straight off the debts - keep you posted.

Yes I know Im on benefits, but I am using the time wisely, Im studying a 6 yr course with the OU so when my daughter is at secondary school in theory I'll be qualifed and can do something.

    Thats the paln of action.
