Feb 1st and a spend day ...
Grocery shopping in between my 2 college classes. Great being back and enjoying being creative and learning - not just work...
It was tiring in a good way on the brain
Sunshine ! It was cold but gorgeously sunny in London today - what with that and college my Jan blues disappeared.. plus a lot of my work rush is done.. so can resettle and plan,
Food - Grocery £16.95/£155 + Bulk £2/£50 + junk £1.95 /£0
Spent in Mr T but some stuff I bought plus on top as couple competitions as well - some hot choc my mum likes so I will give that to her
Junk - crisps - I did take a small coffee flask to college so saved spending £4 on a coffee as was there for 7 hours with enforced breaks... However I did not take any food snacks .. so £1.95 ...
Next week I will take food or even fruit in
I got home at 9pm from college, wasnt hungry by then but had bought some YS GF fruit loaf.... so had with butter and some peanut butter ...and 2 more packs crisps... such bad nutrition - I will sort a lunch for next week
i will go to gym in morning and then pop to Lid for greens etc - I did get a YS chicken and YS turkey thigh mince today as well
£139.91 back in refund... more money to allocate in YNAB
Good news is I got most the refund on the subscription - slightly less as charges and dollar movement but £139.91 back so good I pushed the refund issue twice.

DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Love the anticipation of the PB, I have no email therefore I assume no win unless Agent Million is looking for my house as I typeMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!5 -

@watty1
I have the app and check that every month for mine and my gs holdings. Quite often its at random o’clock whenever I wake up on the day.
I also receive a text to say if I have won, but have to log on to check how much.
nothing for us this month though6 -
Oooh..who else has PB's here? £50 for me which I'm delighted with..6

When I do get a winning text its normally a few days after the draw often on the 4th so I normally just log in to check

Oh I'm sorry you didn't win on PB's...but the good news is it's only 29 days to the next draw!
I'll never get men (apologies to the nice ones) - but how can someone say they are falling in love and text to end it two weeks later. Even the one I'm moping about wasn't that bad! I'm a firm believer in the only men I can depend on is dad and brothers!
But the way I see it is that's why I have a budgeting book and MSE diary. I am in control of spending decisions. I don't get to control big things like interest rates. But I'm in charge of my income and expenditure..I balance the books and I get to make decisions that impact on my monthly budget. After being in a relationship with a man that spent most of my wages, then that is priceless.10 -
