@watty1 sounds like wattydog definitely needs a head light or one of those led collars so you can see him in the dark - or is it a torch so he can see as well?
I don’t overspend on Amazon luckily - I don’t need /want more stuff - my overspends are travelling and a glorious london lifestyle - it’s more office or Xmas stuff that gets bought . The decluttering helps as it really makes me see the excess
YNAB is also the game changer as seeing every purchase and which category it comes out of thus robbing me of the opportunity cost of spending that ££ on something I really want ..DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

The 15p veg was in offer at the supermarkets the week before Xmas - I stocked up on the, all, was very impressed swede was in some of them two. Love love love swede just hated the peeling and chopping till I found the singing swede method.
We are all GF here but annoyingly had started reacting if I have lots of cheese - not impressed !Sealed pot challenge 822

After weeks of mulling it over, I’ve ordered an LED mask from your recommended site! - it was reduced to £56 from £108; £40 of which was Xmas money so I feel it’s a bargain. It has the NIR too. Apart from writing here, I’m not disclosing to anyone; I will wait to see if anyone comments on my skin in a few weeks from now….4

@triple_choc_chip I think you will love it - I honestly think for all our skins it’s such a cost effective beauty aid and over months now I can see my lines are less as well on my forehead - I have no lines on my face
I got my friend one and she says she misses it when she goes to see her boyfriend ! (She refuses to let him see her in it weirdly enough 🤩)
please report back on how it goes .. and take a before pic for yourself - me having the sunspot was a good indicator .. for myself
I even chant (I am a Buddhist ) wearing my mask use a plastic straw to drink coffee whilst wearing itI use mine 3-5 times a week cycling from blue to yellow to red .. always with nir on - use it on clean skin and immediately add serums and creams on after as they sink in more - feel free to dm me questions
the site only has 3 month guarantee but I got mine in Sept and used constantly with no issuesDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)

On dinner parties - I'd offer to take something with you that can be shared with any others with a similar intolerance - that way you aren't pressuring your host but your not damaging your health either. @Sistergold tx! Fabulous is my motto for 2024 I think
still love where I live but may be seeing a one bed later this week . I want a 2 but it’s freehold /large garden etc
MSE WINS
My neighbour posted on the local whatsapp about having some free veggie hellfresh meals as she is going away so I quickly dashed across in my dressing gown .. so I now have 2 new meals - both for 4 people - another lentil/shepherds pie which I already have for 2 so I will cook the large and freeze some and a veggie passanda curry - thats £20+ of free food. I had pulled some YS 500g mince to defrost so made a beef/veggie one - so large I have froze a large portion in one of those freezer to oven dishes .. I did have to make extra mash to cover the second but it was a thing of beauty.
Side hustle
I went to trial some tech equipment for my side hustle to get used to it as it was different to what I have and my friend asked if i could teach them - so obviously I have made someone believe I know what I am doing
NSD sun and mon and Tues .. 7/13 !Today should be a NSD though may grab some food in the SM after gym
good omens 2
I finally watched GO series 2 over the weekend and loved it .. love the deepening of the main 2 characters story (& yelled /was stunned at the ending) ) and honestly Tennant is superb as a demon again - that swagger - but I could watch Michael Sheen and DT bicker all day. They also are v funny as they go thru the various dilemmas of the Old Testament.
I also rewatched GO series one (also on Prime) such a perfect translation of the book and this unspoken love story is just gorgeous.
. I don’t really watch TV but when it’s this good I understand why people get obsessed and all the fan fiction stuff around the GO universe .. a story of 2 v different people (angel & demon) helping each other and humanity and not just sticking with ‘their sides’ is so relevant to today.Plus the fact that choice is so a human thing - we can choose to follow our dreams or not put our actions where they would be most useful in the service of our Goals (finger pointing back at myself )
I am very happy series 3 will be coming .. if people haven’t watched Good Omens then please do and report back. You don’t need to have read the book.
Amazon Prime you could get a sub for a month to watch that and SaltburnDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
