MSE Poll: Netflix, gyms, Sky - do you use the subscription services you pay for?

Subscriptions have boomed during the pandemic as many of us spent more time at home. Yet providers know once they hook you in, you don't leave, even if you've stopped using the service – that's why they offer free or cheap trials. So we've selected a range of major subscription brands and categories, and want to know if you still get value out of them.

I suspect people have missed the instruction to "skip that option" if you don't pay for a particular service.
I simply don't believe that amount of people are paying for a beer subscription box and not using it. Is the beer just piling up in your porch?0 -

That's exactly what I was thinking when I read that and the wine one aswell has a suspiciously high number of people not using it.0 -
Disney Plus has barely been going for over a year. And why would someone subscribe to a newspaper then never read it for an entire year? Reading a newspaper is a fairly habitual thing to be paying for, even if it's not every day.0

I only have an amazon prime subscription. I use their free delivery a couple of times a month, then I have access to their free film and music services. Handy for a wet Saturday afternoon or a lazy Sunday.
I'm tempted to get a youtube sub as I spend alot of time stuck in a youtube loop. The adverts are so annoying.
I also use spotify, the free version. Just hit the reload tab on my laptop to skip the adverts. It works!
I renewed my phone contract with 02 last year and this came with 12 months free disney+ subscription. It was fine over xmas, but then there's nothing really much on there for a man in his 40s. I cancelled the free subscription after 6 months. I would rather they offered me a lower contract than gimmicks.
Freesat provides my tv service. Plenty of channels but very little worth watching. We had more choice when there were just 4 channels.
I'll have this written on my tombstone - Less is more!0
