Thanks Ginger seems the most likely but when i do a google search for root ginger it comes up with ginger root I'll delay posting for  a day or two and if nothing else is suggested will go with ginger.

My immediate thought was ginger. I'm nearly sure that's right. If you Google "Root Ginger" in quotes, you'll see there are loads of entries for it that way round too. It's one of those funny ones that works either way round.
