Provident & Claim Action

Good afternoon
I wonder if anyone can help
My ex wife recently got in touch as she had been contacted by Claim Action via her response a Facebook post. Apparently they say that due to recent legislation changes old provident loans customers can claim back the interest charged. 
As we both had loans out during our marriage she thought I should take advantage too. 
Has anyone heard of this company before? 
The say that they use a solicitors firm to investigate the claim and there is a 25% " no win no fee" type charge. 
Any advice would be most welcome as I'm a little uncomfortable just handing over my details like this. Especially after a little googling shows the director of the company also runs a company called Frank Gallagher lts and Apollo Creed from the same company address. 

Any advice welcome

    If you have a complaint against a lender, just send it to them yourself.

    Never use a claims company and especially not one found via Facebook.

    Do you think it's worth trying. I was reading earlier that they've put a limit on these types of things for provident. Would the resolver tool work I wonder

    If you feel you have a complaint, then it's worth trying. 

    Resolver is just another barrier between you and the company. Why not send it direct and speed things up, instead of bouncing around third parties first?

    why hand over 25% of a claim when you're still going to have to provide all the information yourself?  the claim company are simply going to submit this for you.

    there may also be a potential problem (I'm not sure so best to check) that if you did agree to use a claim company they may get more than 25% of what you receive.  Provident will not be giving 100% compensation.  So potentially if they say they owe you £100 but can only pay you £50 you may still lose £25 of that to the claims company as that's 25% of what you are owed.

    You make your claim through the claims portal I have linked to below.

    They are just one in a very long list of claims management companies out there touting for your business on various social media platforms such as Facebook, TicToc, etc etc.

    If you feel you have a legitimate complaint, then as advised above, complain direct to the company, why would you use a claims management company to do it for you ?

    Claims management companies have an utterly dyer reputation, yet people think they have clout, just because they sport a fancy legal termed name, all they do is make the complaint on your behalf, and for that they charge you 25%, of anything you may get back.

    If you can use a keyboard, then do it yourself.

    Even though Martin Lewis is a part owner in Resolver, lots of companies just ignore it.

    Provident are about to enter a "scheme of arrangement" anyway, which means the refund pot will only be so big, which in turn means that any redress you may get, will be much less than it would have been.

    What difference does Martin Lewis have to do with it?  He's just profiting off the idiots, he doesn't really care how anything pans out as long as his pockets are being lined.
