Morning all, I have a note too !!It was lovely weather yesterday and I didn't think to do any washing 😠 so today it was dry but overcast and the washing is done. Just after I hung it out it blummin started to rain, nothing heavy but enough to get you wet. Mr Fit It was also in the middle of doing a job in the garden ( we have a squeaky fence panel when the wind blows in a certain direction ) so everything is on stop atm. Hopefully it will dry up this afternoon and we can recommence. Now nursing coffees with one eye looking at the rain that we weren't going to get till this afternoon and the other on the Olympics. Don't know what I will do when they finish, I've never watched and enjoyed so many different sports, I'm not really interested in the athletics.I have come to the conclusion that we won't be 'vanning again this year as Mr Fix It doesn't have the stamina for getting the van ready. It needs a full service before we take it out and of course he needs to do it himself as he's the best person for the job, apparently 😕 We'll see what the oncologist says in Sept first before thinking about maybe siting it next year.Take care all, hugs to the poorly ones, family members and animals.Enjoy your hols to those going away. DD and family are going today to North Wales for a week so I hope it drys up a bit for everyone.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently10

Afternoon everyone
I've had a lovely lazy morning with little one. I was given a dolls house for her and bought the cutest little figures for it , so she spent ages playing with it this morning. She kept reminding me that I'll need to ask great-gran to make some tiny blankets for the beds.
We had a disturbed night - awake at 12, 3, 5 and then 7! DD had forgotten her dummy so she used the spare one I had - but it had no dummy clip on it to fasten it to her sleepsuit so she kept losing it. Never mind I'll have an early night tonight. Little one is fast asleep now - she kept saying me is so so tired - I was thinking yes me too!
DD and I have booked to take her to a soft play place about half an hour's drive over the border later. It's a newish place and supposed to be really good. She'll love it - not so sure about me though! It won't be as busy as in 'normal' times as numbers are restricted.
So I'm going to hopefully have a nice hour with my book now and I'll wake her and get her ready just before 3 - if I don't hear her shouts earlier!
Hope everyone has a good day7 -
Very windy here at the seaside.
Folk week is just starting at Broadstairs so we will be avoiding the place as it will be heaving.
