First day of the rest of my life

It's taken me a while to realise that I need help/support/kick up the butt with my debts. I thought I could keep everything on track, and that I had a plan... a good plan! Well sadly that wasn't to be, as mental health took a turn for the worse at the beginning of the year, and instead of my total going down, it was going up!
So as it stands my debts are:
TSB Credit Card - £4900
Virgin Money Credit Card - £4750
I was working until July last year, and at that point was going through a divorce, so I took out some credit to tide me over til I was back on my feet physically and mentally. Sadly things went from bad to worse, and I will not be working for the foreseeable future (enter lengthy mental and physical health back story here...) I'm also a full time carer for my autistic teenager who receives PIP. At one point, I had 4 active credit cards, which I have consolidated into the two above.
Currently I have no defaulted on either of the cards, I'm just trying to get my head around how to deal with it, without going underwater.

Hi welcome to the group. If you complete a statement of account then People can advise on maybe some areas where you could make savings. I'm only at the beginning of my debt free adventure but I feel loads better just be joining and making a start. Good luck.
