It looks like a good tool... but seems a bit hit and miss... takes a few attempts to get the page up in the first place... then won't necessarily produce any results when I type in a company... like I say sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't... strange... I'm using safari if that makes any odds... when it does produce results it is very clear... good effort... :cool:0

A great idea!
one suggestion - I decided to check cashback for Dell, but because it is listed as Dell, Dell UK, Dell GB and Dell USA, I needed to check the first three which took longer. It would be good if these could be rationalised.
Cheers for a great idea though.
P.S. it requires several refresshes for it to work for me, but I imagine that is because it is only in testing at the moment. To infinity and beyond!0 -
no problems here, however i typed in john lewis and it showed all the cashback sites except quidco which pays upto 7%0

Great! This is a tool I've wanted for ages, it's a PITA when you have to check 3 or 4 sites for the best cash back, on top of making sure you get cashback for your choice comparison site, on top of checking you have cleared all you cookies so you don't miss a tracking (yes I am that sad lol)

Worked fine for me. Checked a few shops I'd used recently and came back with some cashback site I didn't know about. Made me realise there were many more than the four I normally use. Generally stick to Quidco as you know it generally pays the most.
Are you going to add pigsback? which gives rewards for amazon but is not listed.
One example tried was T.M. Lewin (posh shirts DH buys during sale, wth cashback and free P&P)
Using the dots came back with only one result
T.M. Lewin - 9% Quidco
without dots only one result
T M Lewin - 5% Linemypocket
Can it function without the necessary punctuation.
It is very useful for those who don't instinctively check for cashback before buying. If it makes it easier for them then they'll soon catch on and get hooked. It's quite exasperating when friends say they haven't got time for it.
Need to empahsise Double check cashback prices! with the individual websites.
Great piece of kit. Well done and thank you.0 -
When you're typing a retailer's name into the search box, and a drop-down list appears underneath, are you supposed to be able to scroll down to the retailer you want?
If so, it's not working for me. I have to remove my hand from the keyboard and reach for the mouse to click on the retailer instead. I hate having to do that, I'm very much a keyboard person0 -
just a tiny thing, and sorry to be picky but could the list of co's (the one that appears as you type in the co you are looking for on the main search box) be a stronger colour. The wishy washy blue is really hard to read.
Though but that could be because I'm blind as a bat0 -
Wish I'd had this yesterday when I did my Christmas shopping - brillint tool!
What about ipoints tho - I know they are not always positively seen but ok for Amazon? And agree for Pigsback... especially for trains which I don't (think?) is mentioned
Had a few problems and had to re-enter a couple of times... but THANKS!DFW Nerd #1310 -
Thanks for the feedback so far, keep it coming! All opinions, bugs spotted, and enhancement ideas are greatly appreciated.
The issue causing the pages not to load at times should now be corrected. Please let us know if you are still having issues loading the tool.0
