Contact Company, Customer Service Role?

hi, just been ordered a customer service advisor at Contact Company, my induction is on friday, ive only worked in Retail, im scared will i find my feet? any advice i will appreciate, is it normal to feel scared about a new job a new type of job? thanks in advance

    Congratulations on your new role!

    It's normal too feel anxious before the start of any new job, especially if it's a new type of job. If you've worked in Retail, you've probably worked with customers. Similar, just that the customers are on the phone/chat - be friendly and helpful, and balance that with some assertiveness. In a few weeks, it'll probably be second nature.
