Santander Mortgage Application

Has anyone recently applied for a mortgage with Santander? I put my application in via broker on Thur 22nd July, email conf from Santander and hard searched same day, Valuation arranged Mon 26th to take place Tue 27th and was told this would be back with the lender that evening.
Heard nothing as yet Tue 3rd Aug (week later) Very nervous, Broker says to relax but i am so nervous! FTB on a RTB property.
Has anyone purchased a right to buy through Santander or applied recently for a Santander mortgage ?

I will give it some time. Application was made 12 days ago.

Hi!
I had a relatively easy application (we had a property fall through a month ago) so we didn’t need to do new underwriting it was just the valuation of the new property and it still took 2 weeks. 

Fingers crossed you get some updates soon!

Hi Newbie598 Thanks , still nothing as yet, only queries from the underwriters. 3 Times its been back. I am praying that is the last of the queries. Mortgage advisor says it should be tomorrow we hear something.

It took around 3 weeks from applying to getting an offer when I applied a couple months ago, that includes the time for the 1 enquiry they made.
When I got the letter through, it had the nice surprise of £1000 cashback on there that I didn't know was part of the mortgage I had.

Hi I received the Mortgage offered email this morning from Santander, hoping we will receive our copy in the post the next few days!

I just asked the same question earlier, I'm guessing not at least until completion.

I just checked my Santander paperwork and all the offer days is we will pay you £1000 after completion,no date, hopefully it's within days.

When your solicitor sends it, check the draft completion statement to see if it's on there. If it is, it's being paid to the solicitor with the mortgage funds.
