Thank you so much for the info, I was not sure if they would send a new one or not.
I have used the current one loads as it is valid at UK Mainline stations and they will even accept it if you get a portion of chips at burger king (not me but child loves them - yuk)

does anyone know if they will accept this at venues other than railway stations?

Additionally do we have any similar cards applicable to airports, seaports, bus stations or town centres?

My card has arrived already - fast bit of posting out there! The T&C on the back of the new card do not appear to mention an expiry date this time - so perhaps it's open ended this time!

To answer cwp500 - I'm pretty sure it's only for use at mainline stations; that siad, you could always give it a go elsewhere and see if they, ahem, bite!
