Thanks for that.We ended up in Espinho eventually which was fine.bigfer said:Deleted_User said:Heading to Porto next week.
Any suggestions for a few days in a decent beach resort not far from the city ?Vila Praia de Âncora. I had a week here June 2019. Had the beach to ourselves and good walks in either direction along the coast.
Porto was fantastic - without doubt the best city break we've ever done.
Great city,friendly locals,very reasonable prices.
I'd highly recommend it to anyone.0 -
So Seville is on our list for 2023 but we're also looking at Nafplio via Athens.Any recommendations from anyone who may have been and the best way to get there from Athens without renting a car. Many thanks and happy city breaking to all in '23.0

Haven't been but looks lovely. There is a rail station but no trains, it appears the only option is a 2hr 20-minute bus journey from Athens by KTEL Argolida, buses operate every 90 minutes throughout the day, they have a website with limited English information0
