Intrum and CCA help please

I had a debt with an RBS credit card. Did a CCA request with them almost 3 years ago and RBS could not produce the original agreement. The card was taken out in 1997. I stopped paying RBS telling them I was concentrating on paying my enforceable debts first.
I had a letter from Intrum last month advising they have taken over the debt from RBS and telling me to pay them. I ignored the letter. This morning they have sent me a text message followed by a phone call (which I missed luckily). Just looking for advice on what my next move should be. Do I write to them and tell them the same as I did RBS - no CCA no payment? I do have an EF so could settle for a smaller amount than the £6000 or so I do actually owe. I don’t want to deal with them by phone. They have given me a link to their website which I’ve looked at.
Any advice would be very welcome.

They will not be aware of the debts status.
Sold on debts do not come with explanations as to why they remain unpaid.
You should write and tell them no CCA exists, and that until a compliant copy can be produced, you won`t be paying.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
