Santander Remortgage

Hi

i am now able to remortgage with Santander who are offering a rate of 2.29% with £999.

On the intermediary page it quotes a rate of 2.10% with same fee.

when I called to query the person on the phone said it’s not a remortgage as I’m not buying a new house, that doesn’t sound right?? Even so, all the 85% rates with a fee seem to be 2.1%?

If I go through a broker would I be able to get the better rate?

thanks

Claudia

@cpknight I would love to wrong but would be very surprised if Santander were offering better remo rates through brokers than direct. Are you sure you are comparing like for like?
The MSE mortgage finder does show a 2.10% £999 fee 85% LTV direct Santander remo product

I’m at about 81% - ish LTV. (Paying lump sums isn’t option to reduce atm)

@cpknight Are you already with Santander and looking for a product-switch or are you with another lender and looking to move to Santander?
