DEA & Bankruptcy

Hi I was granted bankruptcy on the 31st of May and done all the telephone calls and from here on its a fresh start. I'm just trying to get things moved on quickly I've just one concern;
I have a DEA direct earnings attachment from DWP @ 15% of my monthly wages, this was included in my BR application and was advised the OR receiver can take 8-12 weeks to inform all my creditors.
The DEA has put massive financial hardship on my family, the amount taken equates to a months food shop so it's been a very difficult time. I contacted the DWP debt management team on the 10th of June to explain I've entered bankruptcy, the checked my BR on the Insolvency Register and was told this would stop.
My wage was deducted 15% again, I am wondering if anyone has been in the same situation and how long does this process usually take for the DEA to stop? Does the money they take off get returned back to me as the balance was included in the BR?
Sorry for the long post.

The DEA should stop and the money taken after the bankruptcy date should be returned.
If this was a fraudulent overpayment, deductions can recommence after discharge0 -
Hi no it wasn't fraudulent, it was for overpayments, thanks for the reply, I'll give DWP a ring tomorrow and find out what they say.0
